Todays verse: Mark 14:43-50

God’s way, not my way

“…But let the scriptures be fulfilled…” (Mark 14:49b) was one of the things Jesus said to the disciples as he was betrayed and arrested. Jesus was focusing on the Scriptures while he was having his biggest challenge in life. He even said to the disciples right before he was betrayed: “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death” (Mark 14:34). He knew the price He was going to pay. Jesus was so down to earth that he cried out to His Papa and said: “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.” (Mark 14:36). He depended on His Father all the time.

I love the fact that Jesus never gave up, that He trusted in His Father and in His plan for His life. Because of that we have eternal life, we have an abundant and glorious destiny.

I want to be more like Jesus. NEVER GIVE UP. Trust in God with all your heart in happy days and in painful days. Let the Scriptures be fulfilled in your life. Let the promises from our Father in heaven restore, transform and set you free.

John 8:32 says: “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Let the Word of God speak to your life, revive your spirit and renew your mind.

I want to repeat it again and leave you with these 3 things to keep in your heart:

  1. Let the Scriptures be fulfilled in your life.
  2. Trust in God in every situation.
  3. Never give up

With love
